No pain!

I tried something new today...ALEVE!  That stuff is amazing :)  I hope that with it I will be able to get my run done easily tomorrow.  I took today completely off from exercise.  I felt that was the right choice for me.  Work has been really hectic and I am nervous about my schedule changing quickly.  I do hope to run more outside though to get ready for a real 5K.  There is a park near my work that has a paved track on it.  The distance is approx .67 miles for a lap.  I figure I need to do about 5 - 6 laps and that is doable!

Tonight I made shrimp scampi over rice with asparagus!  It was SO delicious.  I will definitely make that again.  I miss homegrown asparagus though :(  but make do with what is available out here.  Last night was leftovers and tomorrow night will probably be leftovers for Zac.  I will head down to the bar for a couple of beers.  Love my social hour :)  But I don't plan on staying out all night.  I have a busy weekend.

I plan on helping my friend this weekend.  She just bought her first place and it needs a coat of paint everywhere.  I seem to love to paint, so I am helping her get it ready this weekend.  We have a pattern we are doing in her bedroom on one wall and I can't wait to try it.  I meant to try it here first, but just never got around to it.  I hope by being busy this weekend I do better at tracking what I eat.  I plan on taking good for me food!  That seems to really help a lot when I am on the go.

Well I must go and work on John's taxes for a short bit.  I keep putting this off and that is not going to get them done! One last thing though.  I had my weigh in yesterday and I was pretty sure I knew I had struggled all week and I was right...I gained only one pound though :)  I did watch everything I had for the 3 days leading up to the weigh in and I think that really helped.  I have also been doing great since then...not perfect, but much better.  I am trying to be a lot better and writing it all down.  I WANT TO SUCCEED and I can't if I keep sabotaging my hard work.  I am completely on track and willing to work hard.

Alright now here I go!

Not one of my best weeks

Not sure what is up, but I have not had a great week so far :(  I went to do my run Monday morning and I thought I felt pretty good, but after the first 2 intervals I could barely breath.  Now I was doing more than before, but still it was very difficult.  This weeks run were supposed to be:

5min warm up
3min run
90sec walk
5min run
2:30 walk
REPEAT 2 more times
5min cool down

Well I ended up walking almost all of the 44 mins.  I maybe got in 10 mins of running.  I went at a pace of 5.7 and maybe this was a little ambitious, but I thought I was able to do it.  I really think if I could have been able to breath I would have done better.  I don't know what Wednesday's run will be yet, but kind of leaning towards the previous weeks routine.

I did spinning today for something different.  I woke up like usual, but I was very tired and so I slept in a couple more hours and was thankful for it!  Spinning is at noon on Tuesday's and Thursday's.  I haven't been in about a year and was pleasantly surprised how good it felt.  Sure, I didn't go as far as the others.  I have always struggled to move my legs as fast as I should, but I still keep going.  I thought it may help my knee and hip, but they are still sore.  I think it really has to do with my speed training, so I need to very careful.

I did quite well keep track of points the past two days and it shows on the scale, because it had been creeping the wrong way.  I may still have a small gain tomorrow at weigh in, but I know it is my fault and I am working on correcting it.  All I can do is try harder and be more diligent about writing everything down!

I am off to bed, but wanted to get this down in here before I forgot!  I did that last night :)  Have a great night everyone!

Partying like a rock star!

This weekend has been fun filled.  Friday night John made it home in time to go to the beer and wine tasting at the Cam-Plex.  It is two hours of trying different beers, wines and liquors.  We have been for the past two years so this was our third time going.  We always have so much fun.  It is a great social event.  When I got us back to Pine Haven the boys were sleeping in the truck so I stopped and had a couple of beers.

The next morning I slept in til 11:30...I finally felt like I was getting rested.  Then I made the boys some brunch.  Shortly there after, only being up for 2 hours, we laid back down for another 3 hour nap!  I really needed all this rest.  I have been very wore out this week.  We then went down to the bar for some dinner and ended up having a social night!  It was fun since I hadn't been socializing in Pine Haven for the past two weeks.

This morning I slept in til about 9:30.  I definitely feel much better today after getting my rest.  John on the other hand is maybe getting stomach flu or something like that.  Not good since he has to go down to Cheyenne tonight and will probably gone for 2 whole weeks :(  I will miss him, but it is what he must do.

I haven't done any exercise since Friday morning when I did my run.  Friday's run was my 31:15 run and I pushed myself to do it at a pace of 5.2!  I was tired by the end, but I felt awesome.  I really felt like I all my hard work is really starting to pay off.  The total amount I ran was about 2.85 miles in the 31:15.  This means I am a 1/4 mile away from a 5K.  I could do that in about 5-6 mins!  This is such an awesome feeling to know I have come this far.  I need to check and see what my runs consist of starting tomorrow.  It will be based on C25K W4.  I think it is 3 & 5 min runs.  I feel up to it, but I am sure it will still be challenging.  I have found I always double the amount of intervals and I think this is really helping me with my long run on Friday's also.  I don't feel like I have done enough when I get done.

I plan on eating very well for the next week.  I need to go the grocery store today when I take John to Gillette.  I am going to go get my grocery list done right now so I can focus on what exactly I need to make this a successful week.

I have decided on my next reward.  I am going to purchase 3 or 4 personal training sessions. I think it is about $100.  My goal is that this will help me move forward even more.  I also think it will help me focus on what I am missing, STRENGTH TRAINING.  I can do plenty of cardio, but I really need to incorporate strength training into my workout.  I'll keep you posted on when it starts and how it goes.

Off to get my grocery list done.  Need to be very focused this week.

one more day...

Well it is Thursday and I have only one more day of getting up early!!!!  This makes me so happy because I am feeling very tired.  I need to get lots of rest this weekend and relax.  I need to schedule my massage quickly too.  I think that would help in the relaxing part!  Today I got my hair cut and I was about ready to fall asleep in the chair!

This morning I did my laps swimming.  One regular lap and one kick boarding lap.  I usually get 10 laps done total in 25 mins but I got 12 done and it was a little less than 25 mins!  I can definately tell I am improving.  My knees and legs are still sore, but I hope by the morning I am not too bad and can get my entire run in.  I will let you know how it goes.

I didn't do so well on my food choices tonight.  All day I did o.k. but tonight I really wanted something very quick so I bought the fried chicken at the grocery store.  I really wanted to not post that, but what good does that do for me.  I hope to get some grocery shopping done this weekend.  I need a few things to make my week go by more smoothly.

I am off to bed a little early tonight.  Alarm goes off at 4:40am and I don't like it.  Goodnight

Not too shabby

I was pretty happy with myself this morning.  I didn't really think my run was going to go so well.  I am currently running to the routine of W3 on C25K.  Same as I did on Monday.  My knees and hip were stiff, but I ran strong.  I really thought I wouldn't get in the speeds I did on Monday, but I completed everyone just fine.  I can really tell I am improving and this helps keep me going every day.  My next goal is to do my 31:15 run on Friday at 5.1 or 5.2mph.  It may be a stretch, but I will give it my all!!!!  Tomorrow I will go swimming again to loosen my hips and legs.  It really does seem to help :)

I went to my meeting at lunch today.  I managed to lose another pound!  Not quite to 25lbs lost, but so very close.  Give me next week and I will have it done :)  I really hope to do better this week with tracking.  This will help me achieve my goals even better and maybe sooner.

I didn't do too bad on my eating choices today.  I need to write it all down, but I think I was successful!  Off to prep for tomorrow.

Just Plain BUSY

I went for my swim this morning to loosen up.  I am still a little sore, but it really did the trick.  Tomorrow is back to running.  I am not sure how well it will go, but I am looking forward to it :)

John got a call for a job in Cheyenne.  He had to leave tonight, so I am sad and happy all at the same time! However, just before he left his buddy called that is working on the project close to hear and said all the guys were packing up to go to Montana now so they would need help.  Go figure, just as soon as he takes the crap job the great one opens up.  Well he is going to do some calling tomorrow and see if he can get on it, but it sucks because we already paid for a room in Cheyenne for a week...we'll see what happens.

I didn't do so well eating today...not because I ate bad stuff, but because I get so busy that I don't take time to eat.  Not healthy I know, but I have to just do it.  I need to find my rhythm as we get busier.

I totally just vegged out after John left this evening and it has been very relaxing.  I knew I had most of my stuff ready to go for tomorrow done last night :)  I hope to get some good sleep tonight.  Last night I didn't sleep so well and I woke up quite tired.

So on that note I am off to bed!

Another week

I have been going, going, going!  It's not going to change, but it will be different very quickly.  I worked lots last week and then the home show this weekend and now this week is crazy busy!  I want everything at work to go smoothly so I seem to stress more.  I put in 10 hours today and tomorrow it will be at least 9 I think.  I think tomorrow night when I get home I may try to put my bike rack on my Escape so I can take my bike with me to give me a little break during the day.  I also may try and go to the park and run/walk as well so I can get some fresh air.  I still want to go to the gym, but I will have to see how it all fits into my schedule.  It takes at least 15 mins to just get there from work.  I will keep you posted on what I decide to do.  No matter what I will still be exercising and dieting.  I have come this far and only want to keep going at this point!!!  :)

This morning I was back to running.  My run was based on C25K W3.  It consisted of my 5 min warm-up walk and cool down.  Then 4 sets of 90 sec runs, 90 sec walk, 3 min run, 3 min walks.  Each set I went up a tenth of a mile per hour.  I started at 5.6 and ended at 5.9.  I won't say it wasn't hard, but I was pleasantly surprised how I felt when I was done.  I am sure Wednesday will go differently, just because my legs/hip are very sore right now.  I am planning on swimming this morning so I can maybe loosen my hip again like I did last week!  Also, I love splashing around in the water.  :)

I did well on my eating plan today.  John knew when I was getting home late that I wouldn't want to cook dinner so he suggested Papa Murphy's.  Luckily this is not a bad thing.  It is not hard to love their chicken bacon artichoke delite pizza!!!!  It is the best!!!!!!!!!!  So overall I did very well today!

I am looking forward to a weekend of not being so busy, but until then, I will just keep my head screwed on and find ways to help me de-stress constantly :)  If I do this I think I will be able to accomplish more and do it even easier than before.  I will be re-organizing some of my office tomorrow and I think this will help me achieve my goals!

With that I am off to finish getting ready for tomorrow.  Until then...

Good Run

This morning I did C25K W11D3...31:15 run...at 5.0 mph!  That is .2 faster than I have been doing :)  I kept trying to talk myself into quitting just because it was hard, but I was like NO your legs are not sore and your breathing is good...Keep moving and it will be done soon...YOU CAN DO THIS.  Sometimes I really have to talk to myself when I am doing physical activity :)  I made it to 3.04 miles with my two 5 min walks also.  That means that in my 41 mins I have almost done a 5K :)  If I keep going faster I will get there easily :)  But I need to still take it slow to get my speed up.  I will try to move up to the W3 routine on Monday.  Have to see how tired my body is.  I don't get a day off this weekend and going out for Girls Night Out on Saturday after the Home Show!  I am really excited about this.  I plan on doing lots of dancing, more than even drinking I think :)  So I will get plenty of exercise this weekend!!!

Today I barely ate because I was go, go, go all day.  I finally had lunch at 2pm and I could tell, I was starting to get a headache.  John made corned beef on the smoker and we had baked potatoes with it.  It was delish and it was nice to not have to prepare dinner :)  Especially since I did not get home until almost 7pm.

I almost forgot to mention also, that I checked my current measurements and I have lost a total of 18.75" overall so far :)

Well I am off to get Vodka Friday started :)  We have not had a home vodka party in a while and I think we may play some Wii too! :)  Should be a nice fun evening!!!

Splish Splash

I just finished prepping my road bike!  I just need to hop on it and RIDE! :)  I look forward to this very much, of course until my butt hurts really bad.

Today I decided to go for a swim to alleviate pain in my hip and legs.  It felt so good in the water.  I did 10 laps total.  5 laps of regular swimming to get my heart rate up and 5 laps of kick boarding.  I did them alternating for the 10 laps.  By the time I was done, about 25 mins I was really slowing down.  I felt better all day after that too!  Tomorrow is my long run.  Hope my legs are ready for it :)

I did well on my eating today.  We went down to the town hall today for the town's birthday party and they had cake.  Luckily a lady was handing out the pieces and I got a center piece and it was small.  If left up to me to choose I know I would have wanted an edge.  I love frosting.  So I indulged and enjoyed every bite and was good with just the one small piece!

Nothing else is exciting here.  I will be at the home show this weekend for work.  I plan on taking all of my snacks and meals.  I do have plans to go out Saturday night, but I hope to do a lot of dancing to work off dinner and drinks!  Should be lots of fun!!!

I am off to prep for tomorrow, just got done cleaning a lot of the house.

Failure & Success

Today was my running day.  I am on C25K W11D2.  Still working off of the W2 format that consists of 90 sec runs and 2 min walks.  I start it with 5 mins of walking then a 60 sec run, 30 sec walk then jump into the 90 sec runs.  I do this quick run/walk to help get and keep my heart rate up!  However, this morning I was really off.  I made it through the 6 original sets of runs and then had to walk the last 15 mins.  I stayed faster than my old 3.0 mph, but I was disappointed in myself.  Overall I was still proud that I did what I could and listened to my body and stopping when it could do no more.  As I was going I could tell my form was WAY off and my legs hurt really badly.  I plan on swimming tomorrow to see if this will help my leg and hip pains.  At this point I am not sure if I will be able to complete my Friday long run.  Of course you know I will try :)

My true success came today at my WW meeting.  When I weighed in I hit 259.8!!!  I was so thrilled to be in the 250's! :)  It was another 2.4 lbs lost and brought my total to 23.8 now :)  I am so close to 25 lbs and my 10% lost goals.  I was thinking though what am I going to do as my reward when I get to this point.  I do keep going through my closet and finding new items to wear, so it's like I am getting new clothes all the time.  I did already buy jeans a size too small and I have work to do to get to them, but they are motivating because they are SO stinkin' cute!  I am really starting to see the positive in all that I am doing.  However, I am nervous because I know my schedule will be changing soon and that always makes staying on track more difficult.  I am trying to plan ahead for this, but it is hard.

I did buy myself some new snacks today at my meeting!  They are so yummy.  I made a delicious dinner tonight.  It was chicken with stuffing and you mix OJ and teriyaki and whatever seasonings you like (there is a recipe, but I didn't want to look it up!) and pour the mix over everything.  I also added Parmesan cheese to the top and baked it.  About 35-40 mins later and it is juicy and flavorful!  I think John is going to smoke a corned beef brisket tomorrow or Friday.

I had John help me with a 3 month picture of my progress.

Snacking :(

I am frustrated today.  This week it seems that my snacking has been terrible.  Now, I am still doing ok on the scale, but I can't seem to control my appetite.  I could probably be losing so much more weight if I was more focused.  I can only think of stress as to why I feel the need to snack more.  Unfortunately this is my most stressed time at work.  I am trying to have better for me snacks available at work, but it still feels like I want MORE :(

Today I skipped the gym.  My chest was still a little sore this morning and I was tired, so I felt the best remedy was rest!  I did feel more energetic all day so I think it helped.  I am ready to get back to my running tomorrow, however, my legs are still rather sore.  We'll see how the 90 second runs go!  May have to do some altering.  But I hope not.  I feel like I really am making progress and I don't want to ruin that!  I hope to do my Friday run like normal 31:15 but increase my speed to either 4.9 or 5.0.  This would make me run a longer distance in the same amount of time!  I really think I can do that.  Have to wait and see what my lungs, heart and legs think (the important parts for running...lol)

I think I will do some ab exercises tonight when I get done with this blog.  That way I don't feel like I wasted the entire day :)  I do think more ab exercises will help my runs.  I have not been doing enough lately and so it is time to start focusing on it if I want to have a better looking mid-section.

I did check my measurements I took the last time on March 2nd.  I have lost a total of 12.5 inches overall.  I will be posting a current pic hopefully this week.  That will show my 3 month journey since I started tracking measurements and photos.  I hope it looks better, I feel much better and I know I am wearing different clothes better :)  I am actually look forward to tomorrow wearing my capris that I have had forever and barely ever worn :)

Tonight I made super duper delicious burgers.  My secret ingredient was Grey Poupon Mustard and Honey Mustard.  I love burgers on the grill and it has been quite some time since I have had one.  I enjoyed EVERY bite :)  Tonight I will just relax and do my ab exercises.  I may have one of my snack cakes or even a few grapes (I love grapes!).  I need to pick up some bananas tomorrow as well.  Kind of miss having them most days!

Wishing everyone a great day/night.  I am finally happy to see my glacier starting to melt.  It has a long ways to go, but this week I have seen some major improvements!  Until next time...

Tired and Sore

This morning I had a great run.  I was nervous about it after running outside yesterday, but it went well.  I thought my lungs were feeling better and my HR was not so high.  I walked at 3.5 and ran at 5.5.  I did the routine for C25K W2.  I however, call this W11D1 :)  It consisted of the 5 min warm-up, 90 second runs and 2 min walks followed by a 5 min cool down.  I did 41 mins total, so more than what W2 calls for!  I had no troubles, but it wasn't easy either.  However, as my day went on I felt like I had something sitting on my chest all day.  Still feel this way.  Not sure why or what caused it, but it hurts!  Hoping to relax early tonight and feel better in the morning.  My plan for the morning is to do my ball routine!

My eating has been ok, but still needs to be improved to lose as much weight as I want to.  I find it so hard when it gets to be that time of the month to control it.  I also had a struggle with tonight that I was tired and just wanted to munch on the way home.  I stopped at the grocery store hoping to buy some bananas because they really do help my hunger cravings, but they were ALL green :(  I did buy some grapes though, so that made me happy and they are very delicious and crunchy.  Tonight I am making tacos, something very simple and so I don't have to spend much time to prepare.

I am off to prep everything for tomorrow morning so I can hit the sack early!  Hoping that helps me feel better tomorrow.

New low!

For the past two days I have hit a new low on the scale :)  I have been doing everything right too, so I think this just means great things will continue to happen.  This will just be a short blog because I wanted to share this great news!  I also tried on some shirts today that I have not worn in a long time and they fit! :)  Today I am going to Rapid City, SD with my friend Brandy to help her look for furniture for her new house!  Hope we can figure out some stuff today.  I can tell spring is actually making an attempt at defrosting Pine Haven.  The snow has been melting slowly and I can hear the birds singing :)  It will be a great day!  Hope all of you are having a good one too!!!!

Intervals

It was another day of intervals!  Today I followed the C25K W2 set.  It consisted of 90 second runs and 2 min walks.  I did all of my walks at 3.5 mph and the first 4 runs at 5.5 mph, next 4 runs at 5.3 mph and the final one at 5.5 mph.  I did a total of 40 mins.  It only called for 6 running intervals, but I added 3 more to up my running and speed :)  It wasn't that much harder either.  I find once I am going I just want to keep going!  I did get my heart rate up much easier today so I felt like I got more of a workout from just the intervals.  I think I will do the 90 second routine again on Monday, maybe Wednesday too (have to see how I feel).

I have not decided what I am doing tomorrow.  I have Zac's play the next two nights and it will go until at least 9:30pm.  PAST MY BEDTIME.  I was thinking, if I felt up to it, I would do my 31:15 run in the morning and take a rest day on Friday.  I know I will not be rested properly for my Friday workout.  I won't know until the morning, so I will have to let you know tomorrow what I decide to do :)

Today was my WW meeting.  I lost another pound, bringing my total to 21.4 lost!!!  May not be big amounts, but I am still losing.  This week I really need to focus on tracking really well!  I know it helps me lose the most.

I had put a roast in the crock pot last night with a bottle of Italian dressing.  Then we pulled it apart today and had on ciabatta rolls with provolone cheese.  It was DELISH!  Such an easy recipe :)  Tomorrow my future in-laws are coming to town to see Zac's play.  I think we will have the pulled beef for dinner then as well!

Got to run and get everything ready for tomorrow and another load of laundry done before bed!  Always busy around here.  Hope everyone else is doing well too!

Busy body all day

I have felt like I have just been running all day.  Overall the day has been good, but just lots of little things I have been doing.

I made it to the gym this morning and did my ball routine.  Amazing how fast it can make me sweat.  I am looking forward to getting in my running tomorrow though :)  I love that I actually look forward to it these days now.  I think I will do the W2 routine tomorrow.  It consists of 90 second runs.  Not much of a difference, but may help get my heart rate up better :)  I really felt like I needed to do a little more on Monday.

Today I did better eating right.  I really tracked my food and it does make a difference.  Not sure what tomorrow's weigh in will bring, but that's ok.  I know I am improving.  I need to really buckle down over the WHOLE week and I will do even better.  I did put my belt on the last hole today and it fit just fine.  That is another little improvement that makes me happy.

Well I have got some of the house cleaned up and dinner started for tomorrow.  All of my stuff is ready to go in the morning as well.  So, I am off to bed for the evening.

Speeding up

I started my interval training over again today.  It was weird to walk between short runs again :)  I did C25K W1D1 (however, I call it W10D1)  It consisted of a 5 min warm-up and cool down with 8-1 min runs in the middle and 90 second breaks between the runs.  I did the first two intervals at 5.2, the next two at 5.5, the next two at 5.7, the next one at 6.0 and the final one I kept increasing throughtout the minute from 6.0-6.8!  For the first 6 intervals I couldn't even get my heart rate over 150 (barely even up to 150).  I recovered very quickly also.  Even the fast runs were not terrible and I felt like I could have easily gone longer than 60 seconds.  I will have to look into maybe W2 or W3 of C25K and decide what may be a better starting point for me since I really have done more than this.  I didn't feel as challenged as I would have liked.  I also considered doing more time also, but I may have to try and create my own playlist for that.  I figure I would still like to get some decent mileage and time.  Becasuse I felt like my run was not as tough as I thought it should be I ran downstairs and did a few ball exercises while my HR was already above resting!  I felt better about myself for doing this.

Today I was back on my eating plan.  For some reason yesterday I was very very munchy.  I couldn't find anything to satisfy my need for food :(  It was very frustrating because I knew I didn't really want to eat like that, but it was all I could do to make myself feel content (to a degree).  I made a pot of chili last night in the crockpot for dinner last night.  Hoping to have that for dinner tonight as well.  It was quite spicy so I only had one bowl!  Probably the same tonight :)

Nothing else exciting going on in my world.  I didn't get out skiing any other times this weekend, but may this week and weekend.  Probably not today though, it is really cold!  I hate the cold and I didn't even leave the house yesterday!  Well I am off work and headed home!

STRESS :(

I hate feeling stressed out, but that is how it has been for the past two days.  My 14 year old step-son is constantly getting into trouble, sometimes not a serious as others, but I don't know how to deal with this anymore.  Neither does his father.  I am trying to not let it affect my personal well being, but you know it does.

Yesterday morning I went to do my run and everything was perfect!  I finished my 31:15 without any trouble at all :)  I didn't feel like I had much more distance/time left in me, but that is ok.  I think next week I will start my speed training back on W1or W2.  I will have to look at the running times and see what works.  I may have to do more of them, because now I like to go for more too!  However, by biggest goal is to get some decent speed built up :)  It will be really weird to run for only 60-90 seconds at a time...lol  I have thought about doing two speed interval training days and one long run day also.  Have to see how it all goes this week.  Just thoughts.

This morning I planned on cross country skiing at 9am here in Pine Haven.  I thought I was meeting a friend, but she slept in.  I don't blame her.  Technically I slept in as well, but 8am is that for me :)  Skiing was nice.  It was breezy in the open areas and the snow was a little wet making it sticky, but overall it was a beautiful morning.  I did make contact with my friend and she may be coming out here after 3pm and so I think I will go back out with her again.  Not like I am out there for a very long time!  It's kind of peaceful out in the snow.

Yesterday I did good during the day on my points and then last night we went down to the bar for a couple of beers that turned into 6 :)  What can I say, they were DELISH!  and for my stress, I needed them :)  I also had a BLT on wheat.  Not my best sandwich, but it could have been worse I am sure.  I like it because it doesn't make me feel so stuffed.  Today we went to Gillette to pick up a few things and John wanted some breakfast (sit-down) and so we went to Perkins.  I reviewed their menu and found they have 2 calorie counter meals!  I chose the Southwest Chicken Omelet.  It seemed like the best choice for me :)  It was perfect.  I came with fruit and dry toast (however, I can't eat it dry so I put some jam on it, but only ate a single slice, not both).  It was very tasty and filling.  I need to check out the points exactly on it, but I felt successful that I chose the best meal for me.  Sometimes dining out just stresses me more than anything else, but thankfully I was able to alleviate some of that stress and just read the menu carefully.

For the rest of my day I don't know what may happen, but I look forward to the possibility of skiing again and spending time with my sweetheart!  Hope everyone that may read this is doing well!

Break day

Yesterday turned out to be a rough day for me.  That is why I am just now writing.

I went to the gym first thing like I always do.  Hopped on the treadmill and it wasn't an easy run, but I was doing it and refused to quit.  Not like my legs hurt or anything.  It was just my body wasn't feeling right overall.  I should have listened to it better, but my drive made me continue on.  By the last 5-10 mins I was ready to puke.  Not a feeling I enjoy at all.  I wrapped up the run completing W8D2 but of my own version 31:15 or 2.5 miles and headed down to the locker room.  I still felt off, but just thought it was because of the hard workout I just did.  I hopped in the shower and felt dizzy and saw stars :(  I just barely got rinsed off and conditioner out of my hair and I HAD to sit down.  Once sitting I started to feel a bit better thankfully :)  I finished getting ready and stopped at the gas station for an OJ (by the way...they are 6 points!!!) and that seemed to help also.  Not sure if it was a blood pressure issue or blood sugar, but it scared me!

All day I had fruits and lunch and water, but I still came down with a terrible headache :(  Staring at the computer all day did not help I am sure, but I had to get the job done.  I came home and made some chips and cheese and then laid down.  I relaxed for a couple of hours and then drifted off around 8pm.  I woke up this morning at 5am but felt like I should take a break today and give my body a rest.  I slept for another 90 mins and woke up with lots of energy!!!  It was a nice change :)

I had a good day overall.  I got a lot done at work and then went to Wal-Mart tonight to pick up a few things.  I bought lots of good foods for me to have, however, I will still have to gets fruits and veggies on an as needed basis to go with it.  I bought Papa Murphy's for dinner tonight and it was delish!!!  I get the Chicken Bacon Artichoke DeLight...YUM!  The boys got a Hawaiian.

Tonight I have been doing some work (folding prepay letters) and hemming Zac's pants for his play.  Bought some iron in hem stuff.  Supposed to take 3 seconds, but it's taking like half an hour!  But I think they will look good.  Thinking of that I better get back to the iron :)

Looking forward to my run tomorrow.  We'll see how my body feels and may vary it a bit so I don't kill myself!  Got to be better to my body :)  And by the way I lost another 1.4 yesterday bringing my total to 20.4 lost!  I will have to update my little person on the top of my blog later or tomorrow :)  I also took new measurements and found I have lost a total of 4" on my waist ALONE.  I lost more on all other areas, but that was the biggest losing area :)  It showed today.  I actually wore my belt on the last hole!!!  Small accomplishments make me keep going!
